Suriya, the talented actor is on a signing spree, as we reported earlier. The Soorarai Pottru actor is currently on a high with some promising projects in the pipeline. As per the latest updates, Suriya is now all set to join hands with KV Anand once again, after the success of Kaappaan.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Suriya and KV Anand are joining hands once again, for a project which is expected to go on floors in 2021. The rumour mills suggest that the untitled project which is currently under the scripting stage is a sequel to the actor-director duo’s 2009-released blockbuster Ayan. However, there is no official confirmation on the reports yet.
Ayan, which marked Suriya’s first collaboration with cinematographer-director KV Anand, still remains as one of the biggest successes in the actor’s career. The actor-director duo later joined hands for the 2012 movie Maattaraan, which featured Suriya in a double role and 2019 film Kaappaan, which also featured Mohanlal in a pivotal role.
Suriya will be next seen in Soorarai Pottru, the highly anticipated upcoming action drama which is directed by Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara. The movie, which was originally slated to be released in April 2020 has been postponed indefinitely now due to the all India lockdown.
The actor will soon team up with hitmaker Hari once again for the upcoming project Aruvaa. The movie, which is said to be a complete mass entertainer, is all set to start rolling once the lockdown comes to an end. Apart from these projects, Suriya is said to be joining hands with the talented filmmaker TJ Gnanavel for a social thriller. The actor is also said to be in talks with his old friend Gautham Vasudev Menon for an upcoming romantic entertainer.
